So I did this mix yesterday while waiting around before I went out for the afternoon, really just because I had nothing to do, and a whole lot of great tunes that I was listening to all week long – so why not do a mix up with them? If you enjoyed the last mix I did (Indie House Dance Rock mix) then you’ll love this one. Even if you didn’t, you’re still gonna love it as it’s THAT much more gooder. So I’ve been trying to do one of these for a while now as I’m a rabid fan of Oldschool Hip Hop, and that hip hop I grew up listening to back in 90-92 in California. Whenever I dj out doing hip hop I always warm up the crowd with some oldschool and everyone LOVES it because they *never* hear anyone playing it anymore, always going “OH MAN! THIS TUNE!!!!!”. So – this is the start of something I’ll be updating pretty regularly. Most of the time I’ll be posting links to new mixes that I do – having a central repository for links, tracklistings, and more or less sexy music for sexy people (so if you’re not sexy people or in the process of bringing that sexy back…we may have to work on you).

Mainly I set this up so that I can spread the tunes, mixes, shows I’ve been at/will be at/dj’ing, general douchebaggery, and totally awesome crap that I think everyone should partake in viewing/listening to/etc. Not only that but a lot of people have been asking for lists of a bunch of the sets I’ve done in the past since, for some reason, they seem to enjoy them. (WHO KNEW?)

It’ll also be the spot I go to stick up new artwork, projects I’m working on, and other things that others do that fits into the “awesome” spectrum.
