So to say the least, work is extraordinarily busy, but unbelievably fulfilling, plus dat new baby has been keeping me quite occupied as well – so I apologize for being rather MIA with the mixes as of late. Fear not though! I’ve brought a gem of a mix out that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now – think 90’s House Party vibes! It’s all of the stuff that I really loved listening to growing up that really helped to shape my musical tastes when it comes to dj’ing, plus has a lot of the “essentials” that I would always play at college house-parties back in the day. It’s along the same lines as the Hip Hop Classics mix I did a while back, without including anything that wouldn’t be palatable for those who don’t enjoy digging deep into the crates. It’s a bunch of awesome music and I really hope you dig it! Keep on the lookout for a few more mixes coming this way (hopefully) soon-ish (I’m sitting on a downtempo mix that I’m not quite sure is ready for prime-time yet – think Blue Sky Black Death, Thievery Corporation, TYCO, etc), but in the mean-time enjoy this one!<\/p>\n
