Hey everyone, long time no talk \u00e2\u20ac\u201c it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been a minute since I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve posted anything up, but, you know how that whole \u00e2\u20ac\u0153real life\u00e2\u20ac\u009d thing goes. Between the new job, buying a house, my laptop breaking, and everything else going on in my life \u00e2\u20ac\u201c it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been pretty hectic \u00e2\u20ac\u201c all good though, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got a TREAT for you all. Last Sunday was the 10 year anniversary of me starting to DJ \u00e2\u20ac\u201c it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s when I finally got my 2nd turntable (which I still have mind you): a Technics 1210 from Cue Records down on South Street, Philadelphia. Prior to that point I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d been using my parent\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s direct drive pioneer turntable with a pitch wheel to listen to the records that I was buying. Since then a LOT has happened \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I learned how to dj, I met a TON of amazing people, dj\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d at some awesome venues, started my whole music production side thing, made somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 mixes if not more (I still have the large majority of them as well), and have had a blast doing it ever since. From Pedro Grayfox coming over and teaching me how to beatmatch and beatcount in my dorm room, spending ~5 hours that first day, to DJ\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ing at Fluid on the same bill as J Majik and The Upbeats, to getting signed to Skynet\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NVision label, to having my own weekly event, to making multiple mixes with over 100,000 downloads \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t ask for more. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve done a lot of mixes in the past, but for this one I wanted to do something special \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I wanted to go through all of the different genres of music that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve dj\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d \u00e2\u20ac\u201c showcasing my evolution over the years, and put it all into a single mix. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve come up with a pretty solid representation of my musical taste and the evolution of that over the years \u00e2\u20ac\u201c going from Drum and Bass to Electro to Moombahton to Oldschool Hip Hop, it covers all of the bases for me. I really hope that you enjoy this mix as I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve put a lot of thought into the whole thing.
